We use the information you provide about your dog, including their age, weight, activity level and more, and pair it with an algorithm developed by our vet nutritionist and PhD-led nutrition team, to determine your pup’s approximate metabolism and calorie requirements. Nom Nom Daily Feeding Guide: Full Meals

These daily recommendations are only a guide. Optimal feeding amounts may vary according to your dog’s activity level and other individual factors. Grams are the most accurate form of measurement; cups are given to the closest proximity. If you have any questions about your dog’s health, consult your veterinarian. For puppies or lactating dogs, increase food amount by 2-3x based on puppy’s current weight.

How to Transition Your Dog to Nom Nom

If this is your first time trying Nom Nom, or if you’re transitioning to a 100% Nom Nom diet, start by adding a little bit of our vet-developed food to your dog’s current food.

Gradually increase the ratio of Nom Nom’s food while reducing your dog’s current food over the course of a week. This will allow their stomach to gradually adjust to the new diet.

How do I store Nom Nom dog food?

Our food is precious cargo. That’s why it’s packed to arrive frozen or cold to the touch. Store in the freezer immediately after unboxing, for up to 6 months. Thaw food in the fridge overnight before using. 

Is it safe to refreeze Nom Nom if it’s already thawed?

Once defrosted, food can be kept in the fridge for up to 5 days. We do not recommend re-freezing.

How often should I feed my dog Nom Nom?

Every meal is calculated using an algorithm developed by our scientists based on the most recent research in veterinary nutrition. We look at age, weight and activity level to determine their approximate metabolism and caloric needs. We also pre-measure their meals so all you have to do is pour and serve twice a day.

How is Nom Nom dog food prepared?

Every meat and veggie is gently cooked individually, then mixed in batches to seal in vital nutrients and maximize digestibility. That's why the beef looks like beef and the peas look like peas (because they are).
