Changes in dog's poop color
Changes in the color of your dog's stool is perfectly normal, and not something
to be alarmed about. Some of the unique compounds within the carbohydrates in
the food that give color may also color the stool. In addition, darker shades
of orange or yellow can be related to compounds that help facilitate digestion.
Owners may occasionally see some undigested vegetable material within the
stool. This isn't problematic, and shouldn't prompt concern as there are still
plenty of nutrients within the diet, unless you're seeing the bulk of the
ingredients look completely undigested. That would be a sign that there may be
an underlying medical disorder that you should discuss with your veterinarian.
