- This week, we’re turning the spotlight on one of our wonderful shelter partners: The Afghan Hound Rescue of Southern California.
Their meaningful work includes rescuing stray, abandoned, relinquished, and/or impounded Afghan Hounds, and providing any needed veterinary care prior to adoption.
Today, help us spread the word about the work Afghan Hound Rescue of Southern California does, and share the adoptable dogs featured below with anyone who may be looking for a new best friend!

Color: Johnny/Black Masked Silver Jodi/Black Masked Red
Age: Johnny & Jodi / Litter mates 3 Months old May 2017
Location: Currently in Foster Care
Description: Meet Johnny & Jodi,three month old litter mates! Johnny is the black masked silver, and Jodi is the black masked red. Jodi arrived with a brokenfoot, and will need to remain in a splint for 6 – 8 weeks. She will need a special caring person to adopt her. Both are very sweet and of course full of puppy love to give!

Age: Jason / approx. 3 years Jake / approx. 4 years
Location: Rescue
Description: Jason and Jake came from a horrible hoarding situation in Korea. Despite their start in life a beautiful new one is in their future and their personalities shine through it all. Jason is very sweet and friendly and walks beautifully on a leash. He is neutered and ready for his new home. Someone will be very special to have this boy. Both Jason and Jake are being fed 4 times a day with added calories and anyone adopting Jason right now would have to be able to continue the 4 times a day feeding until not needed anymore. (4/25/17)
